Clear, published pricing — no surprises. The first notarial act is $15.00, the California maximum. Additional acts in the same session are $10.00 each.
Each signature line requiring a notarial certificate counts as one notarial act. The Client is responsible for knowing which act their document requires. If unsure, consult the document's issuing authority or a licensed California attorney.
The signer personally appears and declares they signed the document voluntarily and for its stated purpose.
The signer personally appears, signs in the Notary's presence, and swears or affirms under oath that the document's contents are true.
The Notary certifies that a copy of a Power of Attorney is a true and correct copy of the original, as permitted under California law.
Volume travel fee discounts apply based on total acts in one appointment. All acts are a flat $15.00 each — the discount is applied to the travel fee. See travel fee schedule below.
The travel fee is based on the total number of notarial acts in your appointment. All appointments are within 15 driving miles of Fremont City Hall (3300 Capitol Ave, Fremont, CA 94538) unless otherwise arranged.

For appointments beyond 15 miles, additional mileage is charged at the then-current IRS standard mileage rate (currently $0.725/mile). Time-of-day fees are also waived for 5+ act sessions, except Late-Night (9 PM–12 AM) and Emergency (less than 2 hours notice) which remain at +$25.00.
Any parking, tolls, or access fees exceeding $10.00 will be discussed with the Client before being incurred.

Additional time-of-day fees apply on top of the travel fee. For sessions of 5 or more acts, time-of-day fees are waived except for Late-Night and Emergency appointments. Where an appointment falls into more than one category, the higher fee always prevails — fees are never stacked or combined.

Payment is due in full at the time of service. Accepted methods:
A $35.00 fee will be charged for any failed or reversed digital payments.
Cancelled at no charge.
Cancellation fee equal to the applicable travel fee.
The Notary will wait up to 15 minutes. After that, the full travel fee applies.
