Each signature line requiring a notarial certificate counts as one notarial act. The Client is responsible for knowing which act their document requires. If unsure, consult the document's issuing authority or a licensed California attorney.
The signer personally appears and declares they signed the document voluntarily and for its stated purpose. Common for deeds and powers of attorney.
The signer personally appears, signs in the Notary's presence, and swears or affirms under oath that the document's contents are true. Common for affidavits.
Acknowledgment of a Power of Attorney document, or certification that a copy is a true and correct copy of the original, as permitted under California law. California law requires a right thumbprint in the Notary's journal for all Power of Attorney documents.
The document custodian swears under oath that a copy is a true and accurate reproduction of the original. Used for documents the Notary cannot certify directly — the Notary administers the oath and notarizes the custodian's signature.
Full loan document signings for real estate transactions, refinances, and HELOCs. Trained and Certified Loan Signing Agent. Billed per notarial act, same flat rate as any other session.

The travel fee is based on driving distance from Fremont City Hall (3300 Capitol Ave, Fremont, CA 94538). Urgent or emergency appointments (less than 2 hours' notice) are a flat $100.00 instead of the standard distance-based rate.

For appointments beyond 25 miles, additional mileage is charged at the then-current IRS standard mileage rate (currently $0.725/mile) for each mile beyond 25.
Parking, tolls, or access fees of $10.00 or less are included in the travel fee at no extra charge. Anything beyond that will be discussed with the Client before being incurred.

No time-of-day fees — the travel fee is the same whether your appointment is on a weekday evening or a weekend. Urgent or emergency appointments (less than 2 hours' notice) are a flat $100.00 travel fee, available any day, subject to availability.

Payment is due in full at the time of service. Accepted methods:

The Notary will attempt to reach you by phone and text at the 10 and 15-minute marks. After a brief grace period, the appointment is treated as a no-show and a $35.00 fee applies.
